➡️ Education & Qualifications
✅ Essential Criteria
Entry on GMC Specialist Register
OR
Eligibility to enter it within 6 months from the date of the interview and hold a License to Practice.
MRCP or equivalent postgraduate general medical experience.
MB ChB or equivalent
✅ Desirable
Post graduate qualification MSc, MD, PhD, MA, Masters in Education
➡️ Training
Training and experience ( 3-5+ years) equivalent to that required for UK CCT (or within 6 months of it being issued).

➡️ Duties and Responsibilities
The main duties and responsibilities of the Consultant post are:
• To provide a high quality service in Neurology (and General Internal Medicine inpatients)
• To offer advice / support / education to medical, nursing, managerial and other staff on appropriate matters
• To carry out medical teaching, examination and accreditation duties as required
• To contribute to the training of nurses, paramedical,scientific and technical staff
• To participate in medical audit on a regular basis and develop relevant audit projects
• To work within the framework of policies and procedures relevant to Medical and Dental staff
• To participate fully in mandatory training as required and modified by the Trust from time to time and also in annual appraisal, job planning and revalidationprocedures
The duties are subject to review from time to time in the light of the changing requirements of the service. The duties will be reflected in the job plan, which will be subject to review once a year in conjunction with the Clinical Director.
➡️ SALARY:
£109,725 - £145,478 per annum
